Welcome to my idea. TOGETHER THE MAJORITY CAN RULE! Our system of Government lets you vote for a representative who follows the party line, or an interdependent who ends up following the majority party line. Your input ends with what the wining team decide, your say has ended for 3 years no matter what they do. The only time you get a direct say is in a Referendum!!!!!! I am asking for someone to start a political party along the idea below before we are legislated to death or have civil unrest like other country's, no one wants that, PLEASE do something! |

The Australian Referendum Party The Only Way,You Get a Say!! CHAPTER 1: 01/01/10
In 2010 its time we look at Australia as a Giant company with the PM & Ministers as the CEO & Directors & US the share holders & every Australian citizen has one equal share only. No one would tolerate the wastage that the government has recorded if it was in private enterprise, so why should we let the government get away with it. Together us citizens have a lot of power if we stand together & if your sick of the existing choices I think AUSTRALIA needs another option, I hope something along these lines is started. This is the only way we can reclaim the rights we've lost and get a say. The Australian Referendum Party or TARP would give Australians a direct say or vote on any controversial issue. Up until the 1960/70 people let politicians do there thing, now everyone wants a say. SOMEONE START TARP! To start a Political Party you need 500 members & a lot of help lets give it a go! I will help set TARP up but we need a LEADER. Hi welcome to TARP. My name is Paul, I'm 63 yrs old , I have seen both Political Party`s remove rights & introduced so many new laws that they have change societies attitude for the worse & I haven’t seen 1 political party or politician to hold a referendum " Which is our only way to voice our opinion! And many other subjects that need to be our decisions - Australian Citizens decisions, and not left in the hands of ambitious bureaucrats who are concerned only with self interest. We can control their power if we all stand together. The one thing everyone must do is, “Get your member of parliament to introduce electronic voting”, elections & referendums will be cheaper, faster and more efficient than the system we have now,and we can have our say at last. I also hate how our leaders have total disregard for what the public want. The perfect example is Anna Bligh, she is selling & changing the state without consultation with her employers -"US"- the public. I hope to with the assistance of Australian citizens start a new Political Party called "The Australian Referendum Party", or TARP (very Australian). The general running of government stays the same, I only want a say in issues that the majority of Australians are concerned about, like the above references!
I need 500 people to start a political party & being totally inexperienced & with a limited education I need help from people with political experience to set this TARP up & become candidates. For TARP to work successfully we need legislation changed to enable electronic voting then registering for electronic voting & referendums will be as easy as opening a bank account, once this is done decisions will be made by electronic referendum. I have been told that this way of voting would save millions of dollars at election time. The question to ask is “Do you want a direct say in your life or do you want a representative who is still running the country like it was being run in the 1920's?”, Anything 90 years old needs to be put away for posterity and is way too old for our modern society. Just imagine if you could make decisions by referendum on these following subjects & many others of importance to the public, which is your right. Questions like:

DEMOCRACY: IN THE WEBSTERS DICTIONARY THE DEFINITION OF THE WORD “DEMOCRACY” IS: · Government by the people either directly or through elected representatives; “Rule by the ruled" AUSTRALIA’S VERSION OF DEMOCRACY IS: · Representatives, who will misrepresent, lie, deceive, fabricate & hide all matters concerning the public until they are made legislation-but firstly he must follow the party line; “No matter what the people want”
It's time we tried "BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE" instead of relying on a representative.! We’ve been controlled by two party’s for as long as people can remember, when the party’s can’t agree in their own ranks, this only proves that our politicians are totally motivated by self interest & not the country. In TARP there is no party line just subjects to be voted on majority rules no confusion. I think it’s time Australians took Australia back & stop being pushed around by foreign countries & big businesses. How long do you cop getting screwed before you Australians stand together & help each other govern our selves by referendum, all of us have winged about something,shut up and do something about it or are you all to lazy. There dying in some countries for the rights were loosing by stealth to our bureaucrats, do something before we can do nothing!
